I smell NCAA sanctions around the corner......
There are whispers through the grapevine that Lane Kiffen is turning his sights out west back at his old school. USC would be a perfect fit for him. The could pay him a lot less, and with NCAA probation likely, he would be a coach that seriously wouldn't mind a "tarnished" image. If he's a success there, he would see them through the probation era and long after being so young. If he doesn't, they can use him and the probation as a scapegoat.
Funny thing is that Tennessee probably would take this has a God send and then go after Mike Leach.
The only other peoplethat I could see wanting to take over that hornets nest is Norm Chow, Mike Riley , Pat Hill, or Jeff Fisher.
