Ringside Boxing Round 1 is (and will still be after this release) the best pure boxing product hands down.

Yup. Ali signed on-card for this product too. 40 autos total for him, if memory serves correct. The thing I like about ringside is that hit or miss, you're getting something boxing related.

I know this is a different themed product, and that is totally cool. But what in the name of hell is Bruce Jenner doing on the auto list...LOL

Ron Lyle is another great add in this set. He was quite the past. Also had fight year with George Foreman knocking down george twice in that bout before losing. Taking on an angry George after he lost to Ali. ESPN has a show on Lyle-Ali fight from LA. I think it is buried in some on demand free sports stuff is where I watched it on DVR. Good stuff.

Are the Fans of Ali (not on-card) SP's equally sp'ed? Like are there 50 of each for instance?

They are all equal (and definately way more signatures than that)..
BG

More than 50 each? How many are you planning on? When I think SP, I normally think under 100.

Misread the post...

The fans on-card are equally produced and are in greater quantities than the new Fans on sticker autos...
Varied qtys... most likely 100 or less each.

I've wanted a Hurricane Carter auto for awhile. Looking forward to the chance to pull one.

What is ballpark figure on case run. No doubt this stuff will be on fire. We have all seen some of the hits in beefy video. Ty would you think this will be the best boxing release to date, with all Ali stuff in it and this auto checklist?. hard to top. But I have no idea about past boxing sets.

399 cases.. sold out

First the reason I ask this is because no numbers have been released. And the post I am quoting is a bit confusing. Is it safe to say the cards which sell for more on the secondary market will be sp'ed more so than the cards that sell for $4-$10

For instance there wont be the same amount of BO DEREK's as MIA ST. JOHN's?

Bg as soon as you know please post the numbers.

I love how people are badgering for print runs. What card company releases that info pre-release? Panini hasn't said anything yet about print runs for Contenders football or Contenders Patches basketball, I don't think Leaf is obligated to either.

I'm still excited for my case and I appreciate the fact that BG has allowed people to reduce their orders even after an announced product change. Wish Topps would have done that last year.

OK, since the other thread is now locked, I'll ask this question here:

First, BG said that the four boxers who weren't signing were only .99 cent guys, so it was no loss that they weren't going to be included.

Then, he announced that two of the boxers who they didn't think were going to be signing, were now going to be signing.

My question is, now that two .99 cent guys are going to be added, how the heck is this a good thing??? ::facepalm::

Because at least the two athletes signed on-card. I think that was where most of the stink was coming from.

BG gives out a lot more info on products than Topps, UD, Panini does. I still haven't heard last years Ginter auto print runs on just sps. Topps used to give those out. But never what regular print run autos are.

God dam if BG doesn't have drinking problem he soon will. 10 pages of temper tantrums in the previous thread.

Now this thread. Why is this guy in the product? Where's the print run? How many stickers? Why don't you try this? Jesus Christ, shut up already. If you want to know what is in the product go buy a pack and find out.

Why doesn't topps get this much ****?

Because those 2 autos actually fit the "theme" of the release and add more chase "fun" for a collector going for the autographed set. PR works both ways

Ya, the owners of topps sit on their ass a say f u consumer, we know you are addicted to this **** so we can do whatever the **** we want.

Hopefully BG keeps trying because most people would have long ago said "screw you guys, you are going to bitch and moan either way so here is a pack full of dog **** , flip that on ebay"
