Well, it looks like I've had my first issue on eBay, ever, which resulted in a vindictive buyer.

twinsfan4life69

Item: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... K:MESOX:IT

The story (abbreviated):

Card listed, as described fully with damage to the card.

Buyer makes offer, I accept. They then email and say their son bought the card, but they will still buy it. Then they want a certain amount back for the card, since it has damage.

Before I can respond, they pay and I mail out the card. Bad weather here cause loss of power and life issues. I tell the seller about this, from my only method (bberry).

Today, the card comes back to me and I tell the seller. I offer them two choices - card sent again or full refund. They choose option #2, refund, which I promptly do for them.

Then, I get negative feedback and the buyer says to call them. I call them and they tell me they had to leave the negative because they don't owe me nothing. I'm a liar and a BS artist, so it's only fitting.

So, people, block this buyer because they were completely vindictive and unreasonable, even after getting what they wanted. Sorry for the rant, just a little annoyed right now that eBay has no real protection for people trying to uphold the rules of selling and being completely honest as a seller.

I guess I'm the only one not getting this. If you sell me a damaged card and don't call it and I have to send it back for a refund I'm dropping you a negative and you deserve it.

Read the auction. The card is damaged and I stated so, very clearly.

I stated the exact damage a second time, after he said his son bought it without his knowledge, and he wanted $10 off the buy price.

He knew the card had damage all along, but his story about the card changed daily. He didn't want it. then he wanted it w/ a discount. Then he wanted it even more because he supposedly had a buyer for it.

Card was sent to him and the PO returned the package to me, not him. He was told of this and offered multiple options and chose a refund and still gave a neg.

Make sense now?

Yes it does.
Maybe you should have explained that in your abbreviated excerpt. I probably would not have been confused and would not have commented.

I did. Pretty clearly.

Ebay took some sort of action against his account, for his extortion attempt for feedback, but they have yet to remove the negative.

Send that to ebay. The "foreign language" should give him at least another vacation and take down his auctions.

Just to add...

eBay has removed the comment he left, but will not remove the actual negative feedback. They said the only way I can get that done is through the buyer, which I refuse to talk to any longer.

Also, I will not leave them feedback of any sort, because I don't operate that way as a seller. No need to fight fire with fire and stoop to their level.

Hopefully people understand when they see my feedback that it wasn't my fault.

ugh.

i have him on my block list from a while ago. he bought a card from me then returned it. nothing wrong with the card. so i just blocked him. i knew the id looked familar.

Interesting. Had a slight run in with this ******....twinsfan4life69... He's listed a card I had interest in, twice, for about 2x what i wnated to pay for it. He had a BIN/BO. It was listed at $80, I woulda gone $35-40, but made an initial offer of $20. Each time I made it on each listing, I was not rebutted with another offer, but denied, and told "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!".

I can live with that immaturity.

Then, he decides to put best offers in on MY items -- BOTH times he listed it (this is about a month apart) of like $5 each - on items that are at least $50-100.

He's an ass.

He claims the Dugan isn't his, it's "a customers" who would only tkae $70 for it.

I wouldn't pay $50 for it.... I'd like to see what Dugan could do in hgih A rather than rookie ball.

IT'S DAVID HORNE AND HE DOESN'T HAVE A CAPS LOCK KEY, SO EVERYTHING IS TYPED LIKE THIS.

I thought there was a strict policy about only having one ALL CAPS member. Maybe CISCO sold his rights on eBay for 130% of the value.
