Similar to yours Ken. Having to sell of the entire Ult Sig dual set that I was 2 or 3 away from completing. Still have all my scans too. Hurts to look through them.

Selling my childhood collection (almost complete runs of Topps cards of Nolan ryan and Brooks Robinson in particular), and not selling hot rookies when I should have.

Aside from financial issues, I wish I had been buying more vintage and semi-vintage since I got back into the hobby 20 years ago. Rather than ripping pack after pack of new stuff (I built all 1992 base sets from packs, for instance) I could've been picking up star cards and complete sets of 70s-80s stuff. Basically just having a more complete all-around collection would be about 1000x more satisfying than whatever I was hunting in those packs. It was a lot harder before the internet as I didn't live in locations with decent card shops most of the time, but it could've been different.

I purchased very little wax in 2001 because I thought prices had gone insanely high.

my biggest regret is quitting collecting in 1995 and not starting back until 2007.. as a player collector it was murder on my PC and tracking down cards from the mid to late 90's that were rare then is expensive and extensive now.

Similar regret for me. I collected Duchscherer on and off from about 2006-2010. I missed out on some great 1/1 pieces, and I would probably be at least 5 or 6 cards closer to my goal of collecting every Duchscherer non-1/1.

Not being organized...

I have so much worthless garbage everywhere... I think the thrift store enjoys my weekly donations of baseball cards though because they seem to sell out pretty fast...

Unfortunately for me, the wheelchair lift for my van broke and if I didn't get it fixed I couldn't go to class. I was the first huge Catricala prospector, and he was the first person I was legitimately excited about collecting since I came back. I had to sell the following cards, and only paid for half of my lift. I have tried multiple times at getting them back but the people are sold to don't want to sell.

One of them is the red one of one, the other is the only refractor I have seen. I also sold for gold refractor's and five blues.

Collecting Daniel Descalso. Honesty I would have had a car by now, I wouldn't spend everyday of my life searching websites 3-5 times a day in search of cards I need. However I would have never began collecting again I would miss out on a fun exciting hobby, I would not have met some of the great people on the sites I go to. Idk its both good and bad.

My biggest collecting regret is from when I was young. My dad gave me most of his old baseball cards. There wasn't much worth much, mostly 60, 61, 62 commons and semi stars. At the time I collected Bo Jackson and I traded away a ton of my dad's old collection for pretty common Bo stuff. The value of what was lost isn't much, but I still feel bad for trading those cards that were given to me.

I was player collecting Ken Griffey Jr. from 1990-1997. Then I was in high school and put all my cards in the closet until about 2000. I missed out on all of the good late 90's inserts when I could have gotten them for book or less. Oh well.

This is probably mine as well except I stopped collecting in 1995. In addition, When I returned, I returned on a strict budget. Thus I again missed out on the 90s stuff for a small fraction of what they sell for now.

Not buying more 2007 Donruss EE. Bought a few boxes, loved it, and opted out of buying cases at below $70/box. That was wildly profitable and also a very fun break! Opted for cases of 2007 BCDP. UGH.

Prospecting Angel Salome.....who was released by the Seattle Mariners yesterday and went through a turbulent time with the Brewers.

And Angel Salome biggest regret will be taking a leave from the Brewers and when coming back demanding to be switched to the outfield.

Trading my 1986-87 Fleer Basketball(3 sets plus dups) for plastic sheets to keep my 1986 Topps Baseball in mint condition. (Nobody wanted the basketball then.)

Buying 1986 Topps minis becaus the 1975 Topps minis were so valuable.
