My CBS Baseball Prospect draft going strong..My picks are in

Really looking for good prospects, obviously, but somebody I could use this year too. Maybe JP and Nishioka?

Not really big on pitchers as I have 4 right now, but if there is an obvious choice, Im all ears.

My prospects I currently have are:

Any other ideas or people I am missing as a possible steal?

I will list the draft order and update as picks come in. Don't know if anyone is interested, but oh well.

Rules for eligibility are the same as a players rookie eligibility: ~~Fewer than 130 at bats and 50 innings pitched in the Major Leagues and Fewer than 45 days on the active rosters of Major League clubs (excluding DL time or any time after rosters are expanded on September 1st).~~

There are alot of the big name prospects already on teams in the majors or in minor league staffs, but there are still some good names to be had. My team is CnR in red. I am going try for guys that I can draft and use this year.

Actually surprised and a little upset that Mike Trout didn't go #2. I traded my 1st round pick, #3 overall, for Starling Castro and Arodys Vizcaino thinking that Trout would not be availible at #3. ::facepalm:: :benson: ::facepalm::

Wish I had known this, obviously I couldn't have, but I might have thought different about trading the #3 overall pick. But Castro will play now for me and Arodys could be a decent pitcher for me or good trade bait.

Wasn't taken in last years draft. He wasn't as high a prospect in Feb of 2009

I guess my biggest problem is going to be waiting to pick in the end of the 3rd round. I get 3 picks in a row, but will be a long wait. Do I take Chris Sale with my 1st pick because he is going to be up and useful in fantasy or do I take Belt, Teheran ect..?

He was on a few Top 100 lists that I had, but I ran out of picks last year and nobody else picked him.

What should I do at #7? I have to wait 16 picks before I can pick again, but I get 3 in a row. Then wait 7 more to get my last. I don't feel to good about the 3rd round, but picks 24-25-26 really isnt that late I guess.

Man i love prospects drafts. We have ours in June which i like a lot better. That is where you can really make some hay and build up your team though, both with production and sellign high as trade chips.

A few guys to look at that I didn't see on the taken list:
That could help you this year: Tim Collins, Tanner Scheppers. And for the future Jon Singleton.
