I def. agree with you guys that said for the most part that is an act from Brock. He may be a bit of a jerk, but even if that's the case, he was intentionally playing it up.

I do not see why Dana White was so upset. I am not a hardcore MMA fan, but i caught the fight and the "antics" afterward and honestly it made me want to see him fight again more so. I do believe it stems from his WWE days - and he knows as a main eventer the worst thing that you can have is for the fans to be impartial to you.....love or hate, at least make sure you get a reaction, because that's what sells tickets and ppv's. I honestly believe that if the crowd loved him and gave him a standing ovation after the fight he would have done the exact opposite and played to the crowd and acted as a hero. As it stands, they booed him.....so he gave them more reason to boo him - playing to the crowd and giving them the villain they desire. Personally i think it makes it more entertaining and see nothing wrong with it.

Dana White is just as good of a promoter as Vince is.

If he really thought there was a problem, he would've cut Brock's mic.

Dana knows that by getting people emotially invested in Brock, he will sell more.

Simple businessmanship

...he was smart enough to make him apologize, because since Bud sponsors UFC, they technically do pay him something

Dana was pissed because he dissed the UFC's #1 sponsor.

It took years for the UFC to acquire a MAJOR sponsor.

Most of you werent fans back when MMA was banned from cable/PPV, but it wasnt uncommon for the event to have 2000 spectators in a dingy arena in Mississipi or Alabama, so its hard for you to appreciate just how far the sport has come.

Either way, I am sure Dana laid the law down with Brock with regards to Bud and low and behold Lesnar arrived at teh press conference holding a budweiser.

Im sure Dana had to get pissed off with Brock because of that, but honestly, if Bud pulls their sponsorship, Coors/Natty/Guiness/Miller/etc are all waiting in line and the spot would be filled in days.

Dana knows this, and so does everyone else.

Making brock apologize is a formality

My question is if/when Brock rattles off a nice win streak, will the opinions from a lot of the mma fans finally change? Does he just go from acceptance to 100% credibility? Because if thats the case, there are going to be a lot of fans who one day just wake up and say..."Yeah. I always had the right idea about that guy."

Like I said before, I think Lesnar is the real deal.

Like I said before, I think Lesnar is the real deal.

I think there will always be the people who will never like him or respect him as a fighter because 1) of his antics: alot of old school fans who think what he does is bad 2) he was a wrestler.

I think 2 is more dominant than 1 at this point.

Bobby Lashley is on just a good streak and he doesnt get alot of love from most people.

However, the way we all saw Brock evolve from a takedown guy to a fighter who was throwing kicks at Mir, if he keeps up training and doesnt do something dumb (ie steroid failure), he could be regarded as one of the top 5 heavyweights UFC ever had.

He has a LONG way to go though

I wasnt anywhere near as vocal as Sammy-Boy, but I was confident he would win in 2.

What stands out to me the most in MMA right now is how fast a guy like GSP can go from point A to point B. In a division as wrestling heavy as his for him to rise to dominance is just staggering to me. (Yes, he is my favorite fighter and the person I consider to be the best ambassador the sport can ask for)

Now you a frame/background like Lesnar and factor in his determination, understanding, and work ethic and you have a contender for years to come. I think we are going to see him around the top for as long as he wants to be.

I might be the only one that feels this way,but i think Fedor hits just as hard as Lesnar,he is stronger then a lot of people think. No doubt Lesnar is getting better and very well could be the ufc champ for a longtime...But in my opinion he isn't close to beating Fedor.

I believe Barnett would be a handful for Lesnar rightnow,Barnett has some good ground skills and i don't think Lesnar throws him around as some have suggested.

Lesnar wouldn't make it out of the 1st round with Fedor and i would have to pick Barnett right now over Lesnar.

But after 5 fights he has made a believer out of me...I hope he gets better, but maybe us the fans can see the fight we have been waiting for.

I agree with you on the most part although I think Brock could make it out of the first round at least. I don't think Fedor would be able to stop Lesnar's takedowns if that's what he wanted to do. I think Lesnar would be very hard to choke/submit from guard simply due to his size. Can you really see someone slapping a triangle choke one him? He's just to damn big.
