I don't mean for that to sound like it was a bad experience, but they are basically going to tear the stadium down and rebuild, and I doubt I can make another game there.
Anyway, I guess I just have a thing for bad stadiums. I liked it there, except the parking was AWFUL (166 attendance, and no where to park), and the mascot really should have calmed down a bit, but it was fun, and it was cool to go to a stadium named after a player you collect.
It was odd going to a game and not knowing who was playing where, mainly because Rosin, Knudson, and Kvasnicka moved to the pros. I was really used to seeing Knudson behind the plate, and Kvasnicka out in right. Did see a player on the Gophers who I watched pitch a few innings when he was in high school, so that was cool.
The game itself straight sucked. We left the sticks AND gloves at home today, and dropped one to St. Thomas ::facepalm:: Coach Anderson REALLY grilled the team afterwords. The opposing team was getting packed up and changing clothes and he was still giving a "pep" talk after the game. When we left, he was still talking.
On our way out, we had a nice little chat with a pro scout from the Orioles.
I wish I could get my pics up tonight, but I don't think I will be able too. I have to go to bed so I can get up for school, and meeting Tony-O tomorrow.
