i would also hit ebay up on this. never know, they may help you out.

EBay won't help you with anything unless it directly makes them money. It's sad to say, but they just don't give a **** about their sellers.

I tried extremely hard to get them to use common sense to overrule a completely unfair negative feedback that made absolutely no sense based on the situation, but the customer service rep literally told me that "eBay US does not have a common sense policy anymore, only ebay.uk, ebay.ca, ebay.au, etc."

That's when I gave up, gave her a good earful until I ran out of things to say and hung up.

Please PM me the username as well. This is exactly the reason I don't sell $1 cards. Just not worth the headache from a$$holes like this guy.

I had 1 removed last week from a buyer who wouldn't accept my offer of a refund and who threatened to leave a negative before doing so. So I am not sure but have you ever "given them an earful" before? Maybe your account is flagged, maybe you spoke to the wrong rep, maybe they felt you where wrong. Whatever the case but to say they wont help is untrue. Maybe in your case they where but everytime I have contacted them about an unfair feedback its been removed.

Yeah, post his name.

Not worth the hassle if he's going to nitpick over $1 cards, especially since he's buying solely for the point if it being a '1/1'. The card is what it is, nothing could ever change that. He got what he bid on.

It was the first and only time I have received a negative feedback and my 'earful' was tactful and polite, although I feel I definitely conveyed my point adequately. I had never called customer service before that, and I'm a power seller and top rated seller with high ratings so I don't think there's any way my account could have been flagged.

Maybe I got a poor CS rep. Ultimately it's not the end of the world, just annoying that they wouldn't do anything when they even agreed with me that the buyer was out of line to leave a neg based on the circumstances of the transaction.

User name please. If he's going to leave you a neg go out with a bang and just belittle him in a message. 12 years and Ive received 2 negative, but I made sure I had the last word.

Report him to ebay for feedback extortion. With enough pressure it will be removed. You tried to resolve it and the buyer is being foolish in order to "straighten you out"

How is this extortion? He's NOT asking for money back!

Yes but if he reports it for this he will get an "expert" on feedback. There is no *report toolbag* option.

The OP posted the ID last night when I read this, but this morning I see he removed it. That said, the ID is:
akroncardfan

Or, in my best messier2 impression:

AKRONCARDFAN!!!!!!!!! :) :D ;)

I checked it out and it seems the guy only buys serial #'d cards that are the first or last in a series.
