I tried extremely hard to get them to use common sense to overrule a completely unfair negative feedback that made absolutely no sense based on the situation, but the customer service rep literally told me that "eBay US does not have a common sense policy anymore, only ebay.uk, ebay.ca, ebay.au, etc."
That's when I gave up, gave her a good earful until I ran out of things to say and hung up.

I had 1 removed last week from a buyer who wouldn't accept my offer of a refund and who threatened to leave a negative before doing so. So I am not sure but have you ever "given them an earful" before? Maybe your account is flagged, maybe you spoke to the wrong rep, maybe they felt you where wrong. Whatever the case but to say they wont help is untrue. Maybe in your case they where but everytime I have contacted them about an unfair feedback its been removed.

Bob Loblaw said:How is this extortion? He's NOT asking for money back!

Yes but if he reports it for this he will get an "expert" on feedback. There is no *report toolbag* option.
