Thanks guys. I should have a list by tomorrow. I have scans of everything, so the insurance adjuster should like that.

I'll post a list here tomorrow.

Went through the same thing last summer only they missed all my cards. The invasion of privacy is worse than anything.

I'm glad you're ok and your dog is ok as well.

I believe theres a decent sized show coming up soon in Baltimore, MD. I will send a guy an email that usually runs the show and will pass out info to all people that set up.

Damn Hive, that sucks bad. There was so much nice stuff there.
They HAVE to try to sell them somewhere though, and when they do, there's a good chance they get caught if you have word out to all the shops and keep an eye out at shows.

Keep an eye out for big lots on ebay & craigslist too.

What do they think they are going to do with such rare cards and serial numbered goodies?

Good luck. Hope it works out. Not to mention the rings & jewelry.

Sheesh. Sorry about your day..

Sorry to hear sir, but You've got alot of eyes out there and that helps.

BTW, a good shop should ask for ID, address, etc. when the buy off someone, especially someone they don't know...

I'm in. I'll add them to my daily eBay searches. Was your cards and jewelery the only thing they touched as if they knew exactly where it was or was everything trashed?

Call the two shops in Kenosha to let them know if any of your items show up there.

Also, have the card shop throw it up on dealernet.. So if other card shows get wind of these they know where they belong..

Are you using Beckett for your replacement prices? :D

Check all pawn shops in a 60 mile radius. That would be the easiest place to drop off the loot. It's quick money and they will take anything. The good part for you, pawn shops are forced to give back stolen property.

Not to capitalize on a bad situation, but I don't have a better option really. I'm going to get a 1-month subscription tomorrow just for the ease of pricing everything. (Did I just use the word "ease" in reference to Beckett?)

Sorry to hear that. That's such BS. I will most definately keep my eyes out for those cards on ebay and everywhere else on the net. Hope we can track the thieves down for you.

It might help if you are able to create a page on your site/photobucket of what was stolen. I created this one after my stuff was stolen:

http://khalilgreenecollector.wikispaces.com/Stolen+Autographs

That said, I have still never seen any of these cards--and I've contacted all local shops and many local pawn shops and I check eBay at least once a week. Whoever has them must really like them or they tried to get rid of them, couldn't, and trashed them.

Why do bad things always happen to good people?

Sorry to hear that happen, Hive. :(
