The Morneau patch sucks; I'd be pissed to pull a one-color patch piece when I know there's some great multi-color patches in the same set (like the Beckett). Cool Schilling patch more than makes up for it.

Yeah, that last trio is definitely a little upscale compared to the true junk that I've picked up recently (Erik Bedard and Daniel Cabrera). To think there was a time when just a plain white Piazza swatch would have been a huge money card, now an awesome 3 color Mets patch goes for $4. While I actively collect GU cards, things like this should be a sign to the card companies that even nice patches don't excite most collectors anymore.

Absolutely! I didn't see this until tonight, haven't updated my patch collection in a while! That Vizquel is on the way to me from COMC, if you still want to trade that Green for it.

Great new PC patch pickup from COMC:

It's /13, one of those that I never expected to stumble upon this easily.

Also discovered the 2001 Bowman Chrome Futures Game Relics set, these are absolutely loaded with patches, and since most of the players were busts, they cost next to nothing. Castro patch isn't that great, but the Doreme patch is amazing (you can see exactly where it came from, the Dodgers logo on the sleeve):
