Very Cool!

I started my 1951 Bowman set shortly after you, but I'm only ay 5. (see sig)

Are you keeping a running total invested so far? I'm curious as to how much this is costing including shipping, ect...? (if you dont mind sharing)

yeah im keeping track on the psa website.

for the 100 cards ive purchased so far is $2024.50

Not a bad average for` 7's plus. What are you looking at for a estimated total when it's said and done? I'm hoping for ~$12,000.

to be honest i have no clue what im going to end up spending. some of these commons that are tougher to get are going for $50-$100. im just buying them as i can right now.

you should sign up for PSA its free to keep track of your set registry. once you put in your card it shows you your pop report and how many were graded higher. its pretty cool.

Considering you have the Mantle and a quite a few other star cards, that is not bad at all. I haven't checked the pop report for 62 but if its anything like the 60 set, you can avoid the high dollar commons by staying with 7's. The 60 set is pretty reasonable unless you start trying to hit 8 and 9's. I do pick up 8's when I see a bargain. I don't see how those guys fighting for #1 on the registry do it. Paying 20x or more for a one grade bump on a common. Don't think I would be willing to do that even if money wasn't an object.
