To the Professional Baseball Clubs Respectfully Located in Boston and Kansas City,
Today is the last day of the regular game season for all of Major League Baseball. It has been a very exciting season with many twists and turns. It seems fitting that the postseason configuration would come down to the outcome of the last day of regular season play. Little did we know, as fans, that your two clubs have a major hand in the outcome of the playoff race. Here is what I would like to say to each of you.
To our brothers in Boston--I have always like Boston. What a town! I mean, if you weren't founded, we wouldn't have Boston Market Chicken.....man the chicken is so moist and tender and the mac n cheese is great! I am also a fan of BOSTON baked beans. And lets not forget BOSTON Creme Pie. So today, as your team takes the field, I make a humble request. Lets not lose sight of what is REALLY important in your amazing city. Its not the Red Sox winning today. In fact, I hope that the Red Sox take it easy and allow the Yankees to pull out a victory. I think that with all the great food that you offer, that you can transfer your attention to them and the Patriots so that beating the Yankees takes a bad seat. Thanks
Ahh, KC......Kansas City! The town in two states! What can I say about how awesome you people are in such a great city! I mean you folks have what I consider to be the nectar of the gods.......BARBECUE RIBS! Who doesn't like your barbecue? Its great.....all that tender meat smothered in special sauces.......mmmmmmmm.......so good!! You also have one of my favorite songs......"The Kansas City Shuffle" by J. Ralph. It definitely gets me tappin my toes and puts me in a winning mood. Here, I will even provide a link to you so that you may listen to this amazing song.

Here is my plea........I want you to SMOTHER the Rays today just like you smother your ribs and barbecue! Smoke em! And I want you to Shuffle your way around the basepaths and score a bajillion runs so that Tampa Bay can't even fathom a win. Hopefully they will find your fountains at Kauffman more desirable than winning a game. So show em what tough mettle you folks have in KC! Light em up faster than Christian Okoye used to do for the Chiefs!
Thank you to both Boston and Kansas City in advance for helping me out!
