Some of the statement i just read are just idiotic.

I do agree that not many teams in college football would win with a back up qb.

Some of them are good points but its hard to see that when you are pissed off cause your team lost.Trust me...I have to endure being a Texans fan.That is a very rough thing to go through.At least Iowa has a team that can win games.

Im not pissed i just dont get why people can just say Iowa sucks when they are 9-1. had a 13 game win streak. I get the feeling some people just say these things to piss me off but its what ever. This week is done im moveing on to next week.

They don't suck but I think its the conference they play in that leads people to believe they are a paper champion as opposed to the real deal.Lets face it...they probably wouldn't stand a good chance of beating Florida, LSU, Alabama, or Texas.

Iowa doesn't suck but they are nowhere near a great team even before the injury
They struggled versus some crappy teams and some of the "big wins" were against traditional powerhouses that are just above average these days

As a Big Ten follower (Illini grad) I hope the Big Ten does well but year in, year out they totally blow versus other conferences in the Bowls

Now that Iowa lost, the Rose Bowl parade will be more important than the game itself

Do some hate Iowa just to annoy you?---possibly
Maybe it's the unconditional love with the Iowa rose-colored glasses perspective that makes some want to kick Iowa fans when they're down

On another note, are they really no Cincy/Boise St/TCU people on these boards?
You would think there would be some supporters of them here

I personally hope TCU/Boise finds a way to play Alabama. Just curious to see how it would play out

LSU can't win with our starter. I wonder how top 5 recruiting classes turn into the horrible QBs we have.

I am following TCU and UH this season pretty closely.I believe the starting QB for TCU (Andy Dalton) played at Katy and if so...I remember watching him play while he was still in high school so its good to know he went to a good program and is doing well.And UH has been crazy this year.I can't believe they are doing as well as they are.It makes their lone loss to UTEP an even bigger wtf every time they win another game.

A lot of good kids come out of the greater Houston area.Especially Katy.They have some really great athletes out there.

This year there is a beast of a kid out at Angleton High School.I think he will be a hell of a college player.Good thing about Texas high school football is that it showcases some heavy talent.Most grown men don't feel bad or sheepish about going to a high school game just to watch football, even if they don't know anybody on the team.
