I thought the video cards by Upper Deck were pretty stupid. My reasoning is at what point is a card no longer a card? To me if it Hasan video screen them it isn't a card by my standards and definition.

That was the hottest card in the 1991 Stadium Club set when it came out. Everyone thought it was really cool.

Interesting.Sounds like even base cards sold well back then.Wasn't there a UD card of Ryan throwing a football that sold too?I always thought that black and white Score card of Jackson wearing football pads with the baseball bat behind his shoulders was an awesome card.

Yep. 91 Upper Deck Nolan Ryan had the football, but the Stadium Club I bet booked for $15 back in the day. In the pre-ebay days, base cards could book high because they could be pretty hard to come by. Only place you could get what you wanted was a local shop, a show, or your buddies. Also, you could go to Sams and by a box of Topps for $15.

Here are some 1991 Stadium Club prices from the January 1992 Beckett (the one with Nolan Ryan dressed as a cowboy):

David Justice - $12
Steve Avery - $7
Frank Thomas - $30
Nolan Ryan Tux - $15
Juan Gonzalez - $11
Ken Griffey Jr - $16
Jeff Bagwell RC - $12
Phil Plantier RC - $11
Scott Erickson - $7.50

Set booked for $260 ($160 S1, $100 S2). The 1989 UD Ext of Nolan with a football was $3.50, and the Score Bo was $4. To say base cards sold well then is an understatement, although that's really all there was.
