This prospect made his debut in the BA Prospect Handbook three years ago, and ranked # 18 on his team's Top 30 list. He was first signed by them in 2005, and has since switched teams.

Highlights from his scouting report back then included:

- Has a lanky frame to grow into (his height and weight remain the same today as back then).
- Can produce an effortless 90-93 MPH fastball, and can reach 96-97.
- FB is his lone plus offering.
- Changeup needs considerable work.
- Needs to pitch down in the strike zone more consistently and gain better control.

Who here can name him?

Clay Buchholz? Or does the player have to be a prospect still?

Not him, and yes, the player still has to be considered a prospect.

Here's a BIG hint: the player got traded in the summer of 2007 from his original N.L. team to his present A.L. team.

I'd say Neftali Feliz with that last hint.

I'd say you're right. 8-)
