This prospect made his debut in the BA Prospect Handbook three years ago, and ranked # 18 on his team's Top 30 list. He was first signed by them in 2005, and has since switched teams.
Highlights from his scouting report back then included:
- Has a lanky frame to grow into (his height and weight remain the same today as back then).
- Can produce an effortless 90-93 MPH fastball, and can reach 96-97.
- FB is his lone plus offering.
- Changeup needs considerable work.
- Needs to pitch down in the strike zone more consistently and gain better control.
Who here can name him?
