Coming into 1995, the baseball card market was dead because of the going strike.
Once settled, mlb and their licensed card companies combined to make a single product. This was something never done before.
"National Packtime" was an 18 card set with each licensed company making 3 cards.
For 28 wrappers and $2, collectors could send them in for the set.
Depending on your personal thoughts, this set could boast as many as nine hall of famers, half the set.
Despite this, the set never took off in value.
Anyone here remember doing this promotion? I know I did.
