Hey all,

I need some help with these tickets that a buddy of mine was kind enough to give to me. He got them from an uncle I believe. Just kind of curious if anyone can help tell me when they were from. They appear to be pre-Steinbrenner Era, but not sure when. The name is the president on the back, Michael Burke from 66-72, but The Yanks were pretty bad most of those years and didn't make the playoffs.

I think it has to be after 1968. 1969 was the first year the AL was split into divisions and had the ALCS. If that's correct, there's a starting point for ya.

Has to be before 73, steinbrenner took over in 73 or 74. I believe the president before him was Michael Burke.

I believe those are phantom tickets from the 70's . A phantom ticket is a ticket that was printed but since the yankees didnt make it never where used officially. The key to dating them will be the fee's since they changed almost yearly.
