need help identifying this card ( DIMAGGIO ROOKIE?)

picked up this card a year or so ago in an estate sale was just curious if anybody knows anything about this card or the value. its says 38 goudey but i only found the heads up goudey.

Your item is not a baseball card. It is a single page removed from a Goudey Thumb Movie.

There are 2 related sets that DiMaggio is part of The 1937 R342 Goudey Thumb Movie, and the 1938 R326 Goudey Big League Baseball Movies (4 different DiMaggio's in this set). But since yours is a single page I cant say for sure which of the 5 movies its from.

The R342's and R326's were booklets that when you flip through the multiple pages would make the illusion of a movie.

A single page removed from these R342/R326 Movies has little if any value. The pseudo-graders like BSVA and AAA will grade anything you give them, magazine/newspaper photos, etc. and this falls into that category. The only plus side is it is vintage, but in reality it is 1/50th of the actual item. The complete R342/R326 booklets of DiMaggio would sell in the $100-$300 range in most cases.
