I think it's hilarious that a .99 cent auction churned out a 7+ page thread.

Well, I sure didnt help the cause.

First, the people saying the buyer was in the wrong for knocking the DSR because the auction was only .99 cents... The price should have nothing to do with it, bottom line.

Second, if you are going to say that the buyer is wrong because the creases are clear as day... The seller went to the trouble of noting everything else wrong with the card beside the creases, so I could see the gripe here.

I am glad someone else can see this point, as when I made the point, it must have gottne lost in one of my many rants.

In my shoes, it takes quite a bit for me to not leave five stars. eBay is retarded and so unless I totally get the shaft on something, i'm not going to knock someone and wouldn't have done so here.

Where the seller loses any side of his case with me is how he responded after getting knocked. 100% wrong.

Hell, it's not like the guy gave him negative feedback.

i have half a mind to win something of his just to knock those DSRs down some more.

The karma stick is going to beat his family line for the next three generations for what he did to Gilmore

I've been pretty solid man. Rippin it up retail style in the box breaks, got some solid luck. I havent bought a card online since before ebay switched to no MO's.

And I still havent bought a display case for the glove

Most sellers don't scan the backs of cards... so is it on the seller to describe in the listing that it has a back? Would the OP and Musial Collector give lower DSRs if the back of the card was not mentioned in the description?

You have to have the most pointless posts in this thread, but I will play along.

If I am buying a 48 Bowman of Musial, where there is the possibility of wax stains on the back of the card, I would expect the seller to mention the staining if it was there. Wouldnt you???

If there are stains and they are not mentioned, should I give 5 stars, or 4 stars, or 3 stars, or how about 2 or 1 stars.
You tell me.

At least I'm not name calling.

I'm not talking about mentioning faults of the card. You seem to need everything pointed out to you... I was just curious if you needed to be told there was a reverse side on the card you would be purchasing.

Oh, did I hurt your feelings?

Cant wait till you get fracked over on a card, whether it is .99, 9.99, 99.99 or 999.99, I will fracking bash you when you come in here crying fowl looking for any type of sympathy. :o[/quote:21iusakg]

Have you always been such a ****** bucket? I seem to remember you being pretty cool... must have been someone else.

I would never come here "crying" fowl about a purchase because I'm not a dumb ass who doesn't know what I'm buying when it's right in front of my face.

I'm sorry I didn't read all of this but is this 8 pages dedicated to a guy breaking a sellers balls over a 38 goudy that he won for $0.99? An auction where you can clearly see the card (and creases) pretty easily?

Cause if that's the case then   ::facepalm:: on all of you!

.99 cents dude, there are better things to argue about :o

You won the card for 99 cents! Unless you make 50 cents per hour was it really worth it? The scan clearly shows the creases. If anything it was you failing to examine the condition of the card that caused such a commotion. Just my 2 cents.

This thread = cup of awesome.

DSRs are opinions. Sure, the buyer could have seen the creases but he felt it wasn't as described and left a rating that indicated such. Would I have done it? Probably not. That doesn't make him *wrong*.

And let's be honest, with that crazy response from the seller it is pretty hard to take his side.

And Gilmore, you're clearly responsible for slavery. It's obvious.

it is really time we have an FCB academy awards.
an 8 page thread over a 99 cent card has got to be deserving of
some kind of statuette.

and the winner for greatest waste of bandwith space is...

I didn't read all 8 pages, but I got the gist. I think the buyer and seller were both wrong. The seller could/should have listed the creasing in honor of full disclosure. However, he did mention the card is in Fair to Good condition which if graded by PSA would probably grade to be a PSA 2 or 3. A PSA 2 or 3 is Fair to Good condition. The buyer should have just got the gunk out of his eyeballs and noticed the creasing. It's pretty obvious in the scan. I know the money shouldn't matter in this situation, but it was only $3.74 shipped to you. Was it really worth all of this nonsense??

For comic relief for the board, it was definately worth it.
