2021 Topps Archives Never Forgotten Joe Torre Auto -- An upgrade to my existing Torre autograph (also from Archives but from 2018). The 2001 World Series was a memorable one, bringing the nation together at a very difficult time. This set was featured on the sell sheets but never made it into packs. I am unsure how this card made it out into the wild. This set is not listed on Beckett, TCDB or BaseballCardPedia. I really like the variation of the 2001 Topps design with the American flag border and how they even replaced the 50th Anniversary logo with a special 20 Year logo as shown on the front and back. That is a nice touch.

I would bet someone, most likely Topps, is sitting on a bunch of these and will most likely trickled out. I haven't seen many other cards from this set except a singular Piazza on a Google search. Perhaps it was a redemption replacement or given out in special packs during VIP/trade events like the recent one in Arizona. I would also love to see the checklist which was intended to be released. It is a shame this set was never offically produced.

Lot of 6 Sidney Wicks 1979 Handyman Clippers cards without the coupons. This is a tough set in general. I managed to find a full set (minus the SP) with coupon tabs still attached. These are the first cards w/o tabs I have seen offered, which is surprising. I guess most feel they are incomplete w/o the coupon attached. I just love the oddball stuff and Wicks is one of the better players in the set. happy to add some extras.

Could show this with the dodgers, but won't. This is Guillermo Mota Heroes Gold /10. He pitched for the Dodgers briefly. This is a set I like (especially autos and the gold cards), with the low print run gold parallel I collect when they make sense and a former Dodger. The only thing that makes this find better is if he was shown as a Dodger.

Those are sharp. What year were they made? ETopps, brings back some sour memories in general though. What a racket that turned out to be. The shipping gouge was real and ridiculous.
2008 for the Stadium Tribute.

They also did a Presidents series that ran 2007 through 2009 (#'d /999), a 2008 set of Presidential Hopefuls (#'d /999), a 2009 Ginter Moments card of Ted Kennedy #'d /999 for some reason, and a series of Super Bowl Champions issued in 2008, 2009, and 2011 (#'d between /749 and /999). Eventually I'll own them all probably. They all have the same look of basically a 2008 Ginter refractor.

Had the Bledsoe already, but the full set with Mirer was a decent buy. I didn't get the original box, but everything else was included.

I love picking up these 90s autographs that were so tough and special back when they were new. Still great items, but now at a discount usually.

Gorman Recollections. I do like that 83 Donruss set. 84 is a tough one to top and they were so sparse at the time that i never saw many of them outside of my factory set, but had a lot of 83 Donruss and loved them. This is /28

Robert Smith Inscriptions. Love the acetate cards.

Diggs on another retro design. Not as cool as the 87 Super Rookie card, probably because this pose is boring. The 76 T set is decent though. /250

Finally nabbed a Kelsey Plum. Was trying to spend the least amount possible, so the card itself was irrelevant. This one happens to be /4 and shared with a ESPN sportscaster. Was trying to get as many of the HOF, star and multiyear All Star WNBA players, but got into another project and let this one simmer. Still need a bunch and there are probably more new players to chase as well. Not high on the priority list, but now I need a new player to chase. Maybe A'ja Wilson if I don't already have a signed card.

At least I know who is buying these before I can. Probably ought to thank you from keeping me from going down another rabbit hole.
I only buy the real cheap ones mostly. I need a couple more for the set, but they never show up and/or are very pricy. Luckily i grabbed a Bill Russell a long time ago.
