I am pretty obsessive compulsive when it comes to my scanning. I want to have a nice crisp scan of my cards, especially the ones in nice BGS cases or one-touches.
I recently purchased an EPSON V30 scanner, and it did an amazing job on most cardboard, and an outstanding job on slabs. However, anything with a reflective surface, the scanner had a terrible streaking issue.
The folks at NewEgg were gracious enough to exchange that scanner for a new CanoScan 5600F scanner. This thing is a big mamma-jamma and does a pretty good job with scans.
