Whoever sends him the most cards of that player will win.

But every name on this list, save maybe Coughlin, has a real shot at being an all-star caliber player next season.

I agree with everything you say. Cogalan is better than people think.

sorry happ sucks and won't win it this year....better luck next year with Michael Taylor

Happ
Hanson
Randy Wells
Am I missing anyone? I think it is between Happ and Wells but I can see Hanson making some noise, he seems to be in every game he starts.
Happ would get the vote today, followed by Wells then Hanson then McCuthen.
Happ 8-2 ERA 2.73
Wells 8-4 ERA 2.74
Hanson 6-2 3.25
Happ has had way more starts than Hanson and 2 of his wins have come in relief.
Thoughts?

His ERA did shoot up .05 points since then. My bad.

Pretty sad that even with that he has dropped out of the ROY discussion overnight. I am telling you, you will have much better luck with Michael Taylor in 2010.
Happ is probably not going to throw another pitch in 09.

It's amazing how much deeper the NL is compared to the AL. No one in the AL is going to be an all-star caliber player for a few years at least, except Andrew Bailey (again) because of his role.
And before anyone says Porcello or Beckham, I am aware of their existence.
