Any time you K Helton 3 times looking on the same pitch when everyone in the stadium knows it's coming you have some nasty stuff. Zito has the biggest/best deuce in the game right now

The answer is Ben Sheets. When he was dealing, you'd think the ball was metal and it flew over a strong magnet at home plate. That curve, when it was working, was the best in baseball; it looked like it rolled to the edge of a table and dropped off.

Those who remember Zito from his Oakland days know that his curve was incredible. He's been great for the last few months and maybe he's recaptured some of the old magic. It would be nice. (And if Mulder can come back...well one can dream.)

Remember when the A's had Tim Hudson, Barry Zito, Mark Mulder, and Rich Harden?

Speaking of knee-bucklers as well, not the best in the league, but Dave Bush has a great curveball when it's on. Too bad his other stuff is utterly hittable.....

If anyone's gonna watch the Rox Giants, check out De la Rosa's sweeper

(not implying it's better than Zito's, but it's good)
