After seeing some of the breaks I have a feeling you wont see much busted at all at this price point, it needs to drop like 30-45% before even being an ok product. Seems they had the brilliant idea of removing case hits and inserting straight trash.

I thought for sure Id see multiple breaks on this site. I havnt been able to get on in the past 3 days. Only made it today using the back door link.... so I was checking out Blowout and saw a few breaks and figured Id see more on thie site.

Have that fake Durant be the first pack posted on FCB :shock:

I see that even the usual Razor/Leaf/BG contingent of supporters have stayed away from this thread. T-minus two days until BG comes on this site and tries to 'remedy' the situation with his standard giveaways and what not. And even better, when he does most of you posters will get on his nuts to win some free stuff. That's the ways it's gone with all the other Leaf/Razor releases. Sad.

IMO, if they really want to become a major player in the hobby, its time to dump crap products like this and stick to original ideas. That Durant sticker is absolutely inexcusable. Total BS.

I've owned roughly 20 and have seen at least triple that since his rookie year and never seen one like that. Also, the majority of ones he did for UD his rookie year were in thick black sharpie, soo...

I would raise a sh!tstorm, G. If that was a bonus "added value" hit, no problem. But for that to be the meat of a high-end product like this? ::facepalm:: BG needs to stop taking a step forward with nice products and two steps back with garbage like this. NO ONE out there wants aftermarket sticker autos.

Well its a fake sticker. The guy could have practiced on a few other stickers and used the best one to put on the card. I doubt the auto is real. PSA/DNA/JSA and every other 3 letter autograph authenticity company makes mistakes all the time.

Rookie Retro is what it is, there should be no misconception of the inherent risk when busting this. From the few breaks I have seen thus far, I have seen no reason* to believe it's value is disproportionate to its prior release. *With regards to the Durant, I obviously can not say one way or the other if this was an intentional buy/insertion as a home made auto card. The fact it's in a DNA slab leads me to believe he simply bought the card(perhaps in a lot) without knowing exactly what he was doing. Having said that, I have little doubt given the uprising over this card and the apparent disgust of inclusion would translate in to a quick and prompt exchange if asked.

I could be wrong, but this is my take on it...

Exactly. You can buy a pack of hundreds of those stickers for a few bucks at Staples. Not too hard to practice faking them over and over and over again...

Not to add fuel to the fire, but PSA could have saw this card, assumed it was pack pulled and never really looked at the auto closely, just slabed it as requested.

But yeah, the auto does look off...

The point is, Leaf should NOT be doing this from the start. There is no way of defending this situation.

I think your being overly objective with this situation.

Sure, it's a blunder no doubt. But to say BG shoulod be infailable at his attempts to package out a product, even this one, is a bit much. It's clearly a blunder, no question, and one I believe he will make right if given the chance. To say there is "no way of defending this situation" implies that defending is required, which I do not agree. An explaination? perhaps, but the simple 'mistakes happen' would do as long as he makes it right with the actual customer.

Here's another case break. Nice Trout, of course, but the Rice is obviously not certified... so the autos in this product are hit or miss as certified. They're PSA/DNA, of course, for what that's worth.
