and was shocked at the price ? It could be a signed hot dog wrapper or a free bobblehead. I like stories like this because it motivates me to list items on Ebay that I consider junk.

Guy listed a Danville braves bobble head gold-plated. Guy said that only 5-10% of the print run (1000) was gold (from what he saw people in the stands holding) and expected it to sell around $20.
I ended up winning for $112 :? Only one I've seen to date.

You'd be surprised what some of the glasses are worth from some of these fast food joints.I know a fella who sells a lot of his glasses on ebay and makes a pretty nice chunk doing it.Whenever they are selling them or giving them away at the McDonalds or BK or any other place he will go and buy a set or two and sit on them for a while and then sell them.Oddly enough he makes more than he spent.
Another big thing(albeit non sports related) is the happy meal toys.I have seen people pay some nice chunks of change for some of the happy meal or kids meal toys.
