Thanks to all who made such great comments. I was very hesitant to post this article as I did not want to act like I was showing off. Please dont think of me as a hero or anything special, I was just doing my job. The real heroes are the paratroopers I couldnt bring home safe.

I'm in and out of Bragg all the time - I'm suppose to be back there O/A 23AUG09 for some re-certs before rolling back out to the ME again (got back late July from my last tour, go back out around the end of this month). I know you're busy with the family but if you ever get some time, shoot me a PM and the beer is on me.

Good article, I'm glad the PAO is doing something positive. I actually served with another guy profiled on that site. Goes to show that the Army is a small place.
