I turned on the tv and the score was 20-5. I watched until it was 31-10 and then went to go eat. lol

Man Your Hawks started off strong but have wavered a little. Even so I expected a closer challenge. The Celts must have been pissed ;) .

Damn My Celtics have Lost 2 in a row to meh Teams :| . The Thunder was without Durant end even though Westbrook is a stud we should have still beat them. Then we lose to the Raptors. Hopefully we bounce back against the Hawks.

Well, they shouldn't have put themselves in that position to the Raptors but Barbosa just whacked Ray's arm to get the ball loose for another possession at the end of the game. He made zero contact with the ball, and it's pretty hard to control the ball when someone just hits your arm like that.
You are correct. I dint watch the whole game but When I saw Rays arm get blantly whacked and no call I knew it was that type of game. Well atleast we rebounded in a big way :) .

Anyone else think the Heat are dangerously close to becoming just another team in the league?

I noticed this the other day - I know personally I followed them and was much more interested the first couple weeks.....and it seems the media attention is being tapered a bit too.
To me it feels every time they lose they drift closer into the pack. The pack of teams that "could" contend. No different than a team like Dallas.
As that happens - I also think subsequently Wade and Bosh are drifting into that group of "other guys" in the league.

Ive thought this for a while.... but doubt either one of them will go for it. Instead of having Bron and Wade on the court at the same time... have 1 control and A team... and 1 control the B team. They will be the top dog on the court instead of sharing the ball. Now the question.... who takes a back seat?

Riley is coming...

Probabaly has to update his suits, but he'll be on the bench by the time they play the Lakers on Santa Day.

Does Lebron and the crew know what their getting themselves into?

You hear Lebron talking about how it isn't "fun". Seems part of the problem is Spoelstra being demanding and holding them accountable to some extent. Bosh with his "want to chill" line.....do they realize what they'll be getting if they force Riley to take over the team?

Maybe the fact Riley's won championships will make the difference? I guess that could be the case.....it would seem a hard-nosed coach is what Lebron needs, someone to challenge him and hold him accountable. Like I said, seems Spoelstra may be trying to do that, but it seems Lebron doesn't respect him. It will be interesting if Riley takes over.
If Riley says - "stop your whining, your the PG, we need you in that capacity if we're going to win" will they listen to him?

I wondering, does everyone that hates LeBron or The Heat also hate Wade? He seems to be the guy not getting much negativity thrown his way, but he was just as much a part of planning this as the others. Also, I'd blame the losing far more on him than LeBron as James has far outperformed Wade this season.

I never used to have any ill feelings toward Wade....now not so sure....as a Bulls fan he did pull a JO-move this summer. Maybe it was real, but after the fact it did seem the whole flirting with the Bulls for a few days was insincere....then you find out he and Bosh were filming it all for some kind of documentary or reality-show and it all seemed orchestrated. That left a bad taste in my mouth.

Seems the biggest criticism you can have right now of Wade is that he is becoming a follower.....I forget who it was yesterday (maybe Jim Rome).....but they had a harsh and what I thought true rant on Wade.....and that he's the one that can stop some of the in-fighting and could back coach Spoelstra, but he's seemed to defer to Lebron and is following his lead.

I think Wade really did have interest in Chicago, and they could have still done something similar if Chicago had traded Deng and signed all three for a little less money. I think he wanted to come out as the good guy though by being the one who stayed where he was, which has worked. We've seen a ton of hatred aimed at LeBron (some deserved and some not). We've seen a lot of criticism aimed at Bosh, saying how he's not on the same level as LeBron and Wade and talking about his lack of production offensively and defensively. They've both been called followers and cowards for signing in Miami with Wade. Wade just hasn't received the same kind of negative publicity, when you can argue he had as much to do with the signings as anyone, and isn't playing all that well this year.

I'm actually fine Wade didn't come to Chicago. It would have been a nice story and gotten hype......but I thought it was a waste of money and resources.
I just didn't see what having both he and Rose would accomplish. They have such similar games and both are most effective with the ball in their hands......could they have made it work? Maybe. But I didn't see the point in trying to force something like that together - if you already have that player it just seems reasonable to then try to find a talented SG (I know Wade may be considered a SG, so I mean a SG who is a spot-up, run through screens to get open type guy) or PF to pair with them.
I was told by pretty much everyone on a Bulls board that I was retarded and didn't know basketball for saying that, but judging by the Heat's early troubles, I stand by that assessment.

can't remember the last time that the knicks playing this well (fairly well...lol)

felton's been a huge surprise and landry fields, so far, a steal for a 2nd rounder

just happy the mozgov experiment is over... ::facepalm::

i could do with the current 7 of amare, felton, gallo, fields, chandler, turiaf, douglas but we need 1 more to step up. walker and randolph just wont cut it and the 7 above are playing way too many minutes this early in the season. felton doesn't look like he's in good shape...a bit...portly? lol! hope they can pick someone up who's a good spot shooter

The only problem with that is D'Antoine's system which is basically Nellie Ball will never win a championship. Don Nelson didn't win one in his 40 years of coaching and the Suns didn't win when they had great teams a few years ago. It's exciting as hell to watch and you win a bunch of regular season games but there's a reason the Lakers and the Spurs keep winning rings.

I agree. Wade needs the ball to be effective. You saw it in the Boston vs. Miami games this year. LeBron takes the attention of the defense and he's able to get the ball to Wade for an outside shot, but he can't hit them. On the opposite side, Ray Allen gets similar looks when Pierce or Rondo drive, and he knocks them down. That's the type of player Chicago needs. Although right now it looks like they don't really need much of anything the way they have been playing.

On PTI they were setting up a Lebron topic. They had the various footage and I love that they had a shot of Lebron doing the powder thing in Cleveland. It was a wide-shot (and have to admit it looked pretty cool) literally every person in the section in front of him was on their feet and doing it along with him. Then they had a clip of him doing it last night in Miami. It was a tighter shot, but there were 4 fans and then just empty seats. The fans weren't even paying attention to Lebron as he was doing it.

Pretty funny, but I also think it says a lot about the contract in not only the markets, but the fan-base and Lebron's situations as a whole.
