The March and November show are pretty good...you will have about 4-5 rows of tables with current cards the rest of the show is vintage and memorabilia...I did the show in the early 90's through about 1999 and then I went to it every year after. I did set up at Sports Fest in July which is basically the same show as the Sun-Times and i'll be set-up again this November...let me know if anyone has any questions...and I hope to see everyone there..."i'll have a ton of chrome prospects"

Mr. Galaragga will only inscribe 'Almost Perfect' or "6/2/10". He will NOT sign the “play at first” photo per Major League Baseball. The ONLY two licensed photos that are allowed to be signed from the game will be available at Merch. Booth. Newspaper clippings, balls and anything else will be signed unless they are deemed inappropriate by Mr. Galarraga or his agent.

wtf??????

That was my takeaway too - it sounds like MLB has asked him not to sign pictures of the play - I assume because they feel like it makes the ump look bad.

My IL home is no longer after Tuesday so for anyone hoping to crash there the week of the Sun Times show, i can still give you a spare key...I just won't be living there (think a 24 year old single Polish lady bought it)

The room is booked at the Hyatt adjacent to the convention center. Looking forward to a full day of show going Saturday followed by going through two cases, buying one at the show and bringing one in the cooler. Any suggestions on the one to buy at the show?

Can I amke a suggestion? This is stealking the idea from one of the Chavez collectors I think, but I really like it. Get a Jumbo 2005 Tott and have him sign the patch.

I'm going to do my best to make it. It's always a little iffy going around the lake in the winter, though. If there's a chance of lake effect snow I usually try to stay away from I-94.

I'm going to be in San Fran the weekend of the show, so this is the first one I won't be able to attend for some time. I'll have to catch you guys in the spring. That's what I get for letting my girl make the reservations. ::facepalm::

Enjoy. 8-)
