Honest question and not meant to offend anyone salivating over the Sox haul. Do people really think Bryce Brentz is an everyday major leaguer? From what I've seen, he looks like one of those valuable 4th OFers (like a Reed Johnson but with power). Now don't get me wrong, those are incredibly valuable guys to have, but I've read on a few blogs that people seem to think they just stole their LF of the future.

They did, he is an absolute monster!

Sounds like the Giants went with another speedy outfielder. Parker was rated #49 in BA's top 50.

yes, Brentz is good and definitely a future regular. Should do well hitting in Fenway.
