Mike Minor had a rough 4th inning, as he gave up 3 ER, but got out of it with 2 consecutive strikeouts.

Through 4 innings: 4IP, 5H, 3ER, 3K

To the nitty gritty:

His fastball is meh, topping out at about 93mph and averaging probably closer to 91.5. Change-up looks good and he's got beat a couple times on guesses, it looks like. He's keeping them down, as per pfx. His fastball is a different story as he's been tossing them right down the pipe more than a couple times w/o the velocity to blow 'em by. The movement on the fastball is what you'd expect from Minor.

Anyways, he looks to be defeating pfx with his change-up movement. All his CH are getting called as 82mph fastballs.

Curveball hasn't been pretty but he's only thrown it a couple of times.

Great time to pull him, his fastball velocity had dropped by the end of the sixth. He started going to the slider, which I think was classified as a curveball earlier. Off hand, I guess it's pretty slurvey. Either way, I think he was hanging them to Castro but got him out.
