awesome stuff Tim.

the McCutchen game used hats are great and the Sanchez Triple Threads 1/1 is amazing.

Thanks a lot!!! I was so excited when I got the 2 hats signed this past Piratesfest.

Oh ok, I thought maybe you saw him giving them to someone. I actually got these hats from a friend who used to heavily collect Cutch.

Great collection mstng99tim. Were you on the old Beckett boards? I recall someone on the boards having those Cutch hats a few years back...

Also, do you happen to recall where you got the 8X10's of Freddy making the leaping catch and Snell in the Gray's throwback? Both photos look amazing signed.

Thanks!!! I was on BMB but I got them from another member over there. He was trying to sell them for awhile but I guess he didn't get any takers. I wanted one of them, but I was broke at the time. A few months later I asked him if he still had them and he said he did and he said he would send one to me for free, so I knew i was getting at least one of them. About a month after that he sent me the other one out of the blue along with some Cutch cards that he had.

For the photos, I printed the Freddy one myself and I bought the Snell throwback at Piratesfest in either '07 or '08.

Hmm...can't believe I didn't see the Snell at Piratefest. Might have been '07, because I only got through one or two lines due to the crowd size.

edit-I just looked at the photo again and it looks like it came from photofile, which would explain why hadn't seen it. I'll have to find myself a copy to get signed at some point.

I bought the Snell at the big 8x10 picture booth that they have there every year.

Duke is so locked in right now I wish they would let him bat and finish the 9th... I doubt it though.

Duke should have gone out and pitched the 9th but after giving up a single and walking the next 2 batters Capps closes it out.

No matter how often management refers to Capps as being a key piece of a contending team, I just can't see it. Capps is a pitcher with an above average fastball and pinpoint control. Can he be a good closer? Sure, but then again so were Mike Williams and Jose Mesa in recent years. Of course, there don't appear to be any great relief arms coming through the minors in the near future.

I agree, Duke looked great in the 8th. His breaking ball was looking awesome and his fast ball was still sitting at 88-90 mph.

:D I like Capps, and I feel far more confident with him on the mound in the 9th than I ever did with Mike Williams. Still, it really frustrated me when they bill Capps as one of their 'big four.' Obviously there's a huge lack of talent in the entire organization, but I can't see Capps being more than a good closer. He's certainly not on the same level as elite closers like Rivera, KRod, Lidge, etc.

i do agree , he's not one of the big four. if they would win he would look better. that's what makes the others look better.
when i started collecting again he was one of the few with cards that i had met.
still hard to get used to rangers as local team . biggest difference so far is the girl friends!!
