awesome pics James. thanks for sharing them. LaRoche always spends a lot of time with the fans and does seem like a great guy although I have never had the chance to meet him.

Duke 8Ip 2ER 6H 2BB 7SO and Zach gets the loss... Talk about effiency though 88 pitches in 8 innings. Where is the run support?

That was a rough game...Pirate bats always go dead against the AL. Sanchez looked lost at the plate, and putting Vazquez at third baffles me. There were 5 lefties in a row in the heart of the order. Duke picks up another tough loss.

On another note, that may have been the fastest game I've ever watched. It was definitely under 2 hours.

Rumor has it that the Pirates have taken Brad Corley off the AA Curve roster and are trying to trade him. That is one player that never turned out. Bought way too many of his cards! I heard he is a good guy, so hopefully, for his sake, things turn out ok.

That's a shame. I have a pretty large Corley collection. I had planned on making him my new player collection once Jack Wilson was gone. The timing would have been just about right had Brad ever put it together. He was clearly a reach in the 2nd round, but I had hoped he would have put up better numbers than he did. If you ever want to move your Corley's let me know.

Has anyone ever seen a 2004 Bowman's Best Zach Duke red auto? I have several of the green's but I have never come across one of the reds. Just wondering if anyone knows of anyone with one. Also looking for the 04 sterling red 1/1, and the BGS 10 gold ref 04 Chrome.

I don't believe it, the bullpen held together today! Didn't give up any runs. Also how do you get 12 hits off Mark Buehrle and only score 1 run?? Luckily Jenks blew the save.

Freddy Sanchez went 6-6 with 3 rbi's and scored 4 runs as the Bucs beat the Cubs 10-8 yesterday in Chicago. the Pirates had 18 hits and Tom Gorzelanny recorded his 2nd win on the season pitching in relief of Malholm who pitched 4 innings.

Gorzo has looked decent in his relief appearances so far. I know he is a starter but he seems comfortable coming out of the pen.

I hope so I didn't think it would go over $30 which is why I bidded double that.

Are the Pirates going to deal McLouth around the deadline? I think they could get a real nice package for him.
