Lincoln had a solid first start and was letdown by some poor defense

The defense looked bad today. The offense couldn't capitalize when they needed to. Donnelly was erratic. Duke looked good at the beginning when he was going quick then things slowed down and he gave up those 2 hr's. Pirates had 8 hits and only 2 runs ::facepalm::

the defense has looked sloppy these last few games. 2 runs on 8 hits cannot happen.

Neal Huntington announced yesterday that Pedro Alvarez will play third base when he is recalled (hopefully this coming week). Andy LaRoche is preparing to play a utility role for the Pirates and I would imagine will be available at the trade deadline.

I was at the MGM Grand in Vegas watching the game. I put some money on the Pirates lol ::facepalm:: I thought they were going to win...

Vegas was great, went and saw Lance Burton (magician) he was ok. I also saw Frank Caliendo at the Monte Carlo, he was freaking hilarious and definitely worth seeing. Won like $400 playing Texas Hold Em and about $200 from Roulette. The wife won $122 from a slot machine off of $3 so she quit lol. Overall it was a good time
