It's off and running. Pirates just took SS Josh Rodriguez (formerly with the Indians' org) with the 1st pick.

O's take Adrian Rozario from Brewers.

Wonder why Aneury Rodriguez hasn't been picked yet.

There it is - Astros take Aneury Rodriguez from the Rays.

Hopefully he'll have more of a chance to be a MLer there.

Brad Emaus might be a steal, and he'll get plenty of opportunity to compete with Tejada in ST. And if Tejada beats him, he's still easy to keep as a backup since he can play 3B as well. Beyond that, I'm not familiar with his positional flexibility.

From a Mets fan, I think it's more of an insurance thing...I don't really think he's in the immediate plans.

Talked to him earlier. He is pretty excited about getting a chance. Was pretty pissed at the Jays for leaving him off the 40 man. He is a good Utility player.. I think the Mets will keep him. But it is pretty early to guess.

As a Mets fan, I really love the risks they took. Emaus is a great pick up for nothing, could help out our second base hole. And I'm thrilled with the pick up with Pedro Beato. Alderson said he expect him to compete for a bullpen job in the Spring.
