One of my first Minor league games was here in Washington, I was 12 or so, a small town called Walla Walla. Gwynn went 5 for 5 (Gwynn545!)
After the game I shook his hand, never thought of getting an autograph, and was pretty excited the next year or so, 1983 Topps came out, I remember vividly pulling his card. Since that very first card, Gwynn cards were kept separately.
Gone down hill ever since... Never thought about collecting everything of Gwynn until 1996...Then in 1997 I let go of that dream with all of the limited, low # stuff I never thought I'd get.... Slowed down (stopped, actually) as the kids were young and needy :D , picked it back up 2003-2004 and here I am.
Never linked my bucket before, but if it works: http://s165.photobucket.com/albums/u65/gwynn545/
A little unorganized...

I doubt I will reach 4,200 cards. I probably have about 300. Maybe when I graduate school and become a millionaire one day LOL
