Oh, you remember that from the old Beckett. I found a guy who had tons of loose packs and boxes of all companies from 82-86. Spent about 1-2K for .75-1.25 per pack. Took me FOREVER to open them but never had as much fun openeing packs in my life. Pulled a dozen or more of the following players RC's: Ripken, Gwynn, Sandberg, Boggs, Mattingly, Puckett, McGwire, Clemens.

It was amazing, I'd always wanted to bust those years and I finally got a chance. I sent tons in to be graded and got anything from PSA 8's to PSA 10's. It was sweet, and I still have the cream of the crop that I've yet to send to be graded even 2 years later. I wish I was still in contact with the guy because to me that was my holy grail.

I think I tried to start one of these a while ago so lets get this one going. I saw it a couple days ago but work has prevented me from doing anything but work lately.

I love these cards and I am missing two more. I saw the dual jersey and bat numbered to 100 once and it went far out of my reach. The triple numbered to 25 I have not see except for another persons Gwynn collection.

No fancy auto or game used cards today. I believe that this was the first "rainbow" I completed for my Gwynn collection. II was so excited to have such a low numbered card as /150. Little did I know what would happen with numbered cards in a few years. I just found the quad for my McGriff collection, which I had been looking for years for.

Same here! I am prety sure the one I have is counterfeit...Can't complain, though, I got it for .99 because of a listing error! I don't have a scan, but maybe I'll dig it out and scan it!

Come on I know that there is more Gwynn here than what Matt and I have.
How about the Tony Gwynn 2001 Donruss Diamond Kings series. The Studio Series Auto was a real nice addition to this set. It isn't numbered but have only see one other before.
