Sweet Fisk R4
. I won my first Ultimate graph. Let's just say I'm going to bottom feed. I did search ebay and found the last 2 immortal prices. KG JRsold for $330ish and dam I'm mad I missed the Gagne. Sure he sucks but $13 bucks for that seemed like a steal.
Wide any news on when you are going to break that next case. I really want to watch that one live.

A nice Jim Bunning immortal got listed tonight. Might be a good one to pick up cheap too.

The last gagne that sold was actually the lowest to date...so i guess one could call it a steal!!

The bunning should be fairly cheap...SHOULD is key, you never know with this set! See those above posts!

:o :o  No that is a new high for that card!!! That's a trip.

I saw that tonight as well. Wasn't that a $20-$30 card a couple years ago?!

Oh yeah, even 10-20. Stayed that way until just recently. Back on page 9 I posted a link to one that ended at 78which was incredible. Now 116??? :D (I'm thinking about listing mine :o ) jk

I guess I never even noticed the blog feature on this site before. I just read yours wideright and it is great. Love the breakdowns. The Ozzie 1/1 numbers version is sweet.
Any blog updates coming soon?

I wonder if we will see more Bucker/Wilson on Ebay with this new high price. Seems that seller must be breaking up a set or is busting cases. He has a lot of different ones from this product listed.

I did email the seller, and he told me he had busted a bunch of cases awhile back and was just selling off the cards now. I wouldn't be surprised to see a few Buckner/Wilson's listed after tonight. That'll bring the price right back down though. It's nice to see a card with such an infamous event doing so well! (even though it makes me sick to my stomach) :( :D

The Puck/Morris got bid up pretty well tonight. Out of my range. Wide how many total cards did Kirby sign in this product? I know you posted it somewhere in that group break, I can't find the total. What guys have the fewest graphs in this set if you combined all the different versions. Also, how did you score the 1/1 Ozzie numbers.

Yes, very true. I got mine for 150 as well...i had on a wantlist that i would pay 150 (the BV back then) and someone offered it to me. I ate it up very fast!
I am so worried that i will miss out on one of the four i need to complete the set in this same way...someone posts a great BIN and i dont see it...i would never know though since i dont check completed auctions (for that same reason). Sigh, crossing my fingers that doesnt happen to me!

I currently own what I consider the BEST LOOKING card in the set....but knowing wideright collecting these as he is, and me changing directions (again), I agreed to sell it to him for what I paid. I won't disclose how much, he can if he wants...but here is a scan of the beauty.

Mr. Puckett signed a total of 190 cards, including 1 platinum (which sold for $307). Here are the top 3 players who signed the most and least:

Top 3 Most:
1. KG Jr.: 1,334
2. Steve Carlton: 1,085
3. Dennis Eckersley: 1,076

Top 3 Least (non-cut):
1. Alfonso Soriano: 25
2. Duke Snider: 36 (not counting 1 cut)
3. Mark Prior: 48

BTW, there were approx. 44,342 actual autographs signed for this product.

jpcz and I have been working on our sets together, and he did an email to the Beckett Marketplace dealers last March I believe. Lo and behold, a dealer out of Wisconsin that had the Ozzie decided to sell of his Ult Sig set. He says he had an almost complete set, which he did have several very hard to find cards, but John and I don't really know how far he actually got. Needless to say, the dealer and I worked out a deal and I got it. :D
