No not spam :)[/quote:1lghxbft]

oh ok, I get what youre saying now.
either thought at the time you meant 1.it was spam, or 2.that it was a board member so I can possibly strike a deal with him... problem is Im out of money completely and my resources for trading suck right now.. hopefully I can get something big soon, the pole needs more bait. :)

Like I say, I would NEVER peel the card myself (unless the peel was severely disfigured or something), but on important 1/1's it wouldn't influence what I'd be willing to pay for it too much.

I got ya. I think it might influence me a little on what I'd pay but I don't know as I have never run across it yet. It would just suck for me. One way or the other. On one hand you don't want a incomplete card but on the other, if the peel is all messed up...you lose either way.

Also, comparing the auto w/ a peel is pretty absurd since the peels were intended by Pinnacle to be peeled off.

Yeah I know. I was having a hard time coming up with a good example to compare it to.

Why not another decade? 90's is played out after reading 400 pages!

I'd be all for having multiple threads. The 90s seem to be the prime decade, but I'll contribute to others where I can.

As for the 90s, here are a couple I recently picked up:

1998 Score Rookie & Traded Artist Proof
ScoreArtistsProof.jpg

1998 Donruss Signature Series Artist Proof (This was on my want list for quite a while, until an Ebay seller added it as a throw-in with another card I won!)

The top card really seems like floating, cool effect

Great, now I'm getting outbid by people on this very board. I'm just waiting for someone here to show off the Griffey Diamond Tribute card they'll get in a couple of days.

WOW. Absolutely unreal. I'm glad I bought most of Schilling's back in the day but I wish I had bought even more because they're so hard to come by nowadays.

Yup- that is a pretty awesome run of 90's Canseco's. Interesting that those auctions show up in FCBay but the ebay user ID does nto appear in the list on the left margin... so I assume it is/was a member here.
