Found a few Gonzos while looking through a box at the house. Nothing huge (I don't think) but still fun stuff!

Okay for Bagwell...I have the Game (all three colors),Play (all three colors), and the All Star Moment(have two with the third and final color incoming). What I don't happen to have is the Season versions (in any color). But I am not seeing a regular Moment version (besides the All Star variety) on my Bagwell checklist. Were only certain players in that?

I think each player had three of the four (Moment, play, game, season) plus the all star version. Gwynn doesn't have the "Play", McGwire does not have the "Game"...

if it was the DIE cut it would be.

What is the difference between the card posted and the one you bought a few days back other than the 5 and 9? Neither one look die cut to me.

the 5 has a print run of 89 the 5 die cut the 1st 500 were die cut, the 5 is the rarest non die cut. the 9 die cut has a print run of 9! the 9 non die cut is the most commom. i have 5 of them. of the 30+ collectors on juangone.com only 4 collectors have the 5 non die cut. the 9 die cut has never been seen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! p.s. the 5 die cut i have 6 of those.

it is an oddball. alot of the collectors on the site do not collect the oddball stuff. we get them when we see them.

I just noticed that in the text on the back of the card it says Juan had a .598 slugging %. Shouldn't the card be numbered to 598 instead of 589?

These cards were either die cut or standard. Part of the print run is one, and a much smaller part of the print run is the other.

Typically, the cards up to the 100s place (ie 500 in the case of Juan) are going to be standard or will be die cut, leaving the last few dozen cards (89 in Juan's case) to be whatever the largest part of the print run was not.

So, again in Juan's case, the first 500 were die cut and the last 89 were standard.
