Just got this, my last card of 2010 (Thanks to Gilmore and the BIN Contest it helped take the sting off of the price!):

He Charlie, was it from an actual pack, or was it like one of those Guaranteed X Book value? I know those were rampant with Pacific inserts.

I am going to post up some pacific stuff I got today! :^)

Sportsfest Inaugural Issue 10/20
cool

have any more details? year? players issued?

They were given out at the Pacific booth at 98 Sportsfest to people who opened a box of the new Paramount product. I believe only 30-40 of the players were done. I Had this Gywnn, a Buhner and 2 others, that I dont remember. They were hand numbered to 20 and unfortunately, no Henderson. I sold the Gywnn on Ebay a few years ago, and got next to nothing for it. I got $40 for the Buhner around the same time.

That's a cool one right there.

So sorry about not getting scans up last night, but here are a few (both sports) that I have received lately.

Pacific put out the best cards in the late 90's. The only beef I had with them, was that they never included Henderson in any of their HOF subsets/inserts that they had over the years. I could never figure that out, since he was a shoe in.

Not sure. Like the Cooperstown Bound set and stuff like that?

I wish I still had the Rickey Henderson 98 Paramount holofoil /99 that I found a box of commons I bought. It was before I started collecting Pacific.

Follow up an earlier post I made. I just received the card with the price tag on it. The other card was the card I posted earlier.

 Thinking I was wrong before. Scans are not the way to go on identifying these. Good thing is it looks like you have one of each, blue and silver. The price tag one should be the silver and the lighter one the blue. Does the lighter one have just a hint of baby blue color to it?

Yeah the lighter one has some blue. It's a lot easier when you have both cards to compare the two. Luckily I bought the first card marked as silver from spnascar so he's already offered me a refund if it turned out to be light blue.

Great post, doc. He relisted it as a Silver again and I bought it. Got it in the mail, was suspicious, and came to FCB to search. Was pretty confident it was a blue before I saw this post. Looks like it will be going back.

Snagged this on ebay tonight:
can you post a link?

[ebay:1y66zgu7]310287140941[/ebay:1y66zgu7]

How much do they usually go for? $8.99 seemed a bit high, but I had never seen one before, so I jumped on the BIN hoping they weren't common cards I just never noticed.
