I was looking at this Donnie Wall today... what is it worth? Probably what I paid but I was thinking about getting rid of it since I don't need it.

Can someone help me with a card? I will try to get a scan up later.

I couldn't find one on EBay. So, if anyone has an idea of the value that would be great.

I was digging through some boxes of inserts yesterday and found it.

I believe it is a 1994 Topps Black Gold winner card.

It has a place to put your name and address etc to send in to Topps.

Thanks

The ABCD one is worth big bucks, real tough to find. I'd guess the individual A, B, C, and D will vary a lot depending on the player collector's that still need the original redemption their player is on, but I've seen some big prices for the ABCD winner one. Which one do you have?

That's the one. Don't sell too cheap, b/c I know there a bunch of die hard player collector's looking for that one. You should go the ebay route with it, but make sure you mention each and every player on the card (first name, last name, spelled correctly) in your description to maximize the bids, since that card could potentially go to 44 different player collector specialists. I'd guess $75, but I wouldn't be a bit surprised if it sold for well over $100. I've personally been asked to find that card at least 7 or 8 times. The keys on the card are Puckett, Ripken, Griffey, Thomas, among a couple others.

Thanked

Cool I'll get it on EBay when I can. Nice to find something in an old box.

I'm still mad that I forgot to snipe the '93 version last weekend.

Are there variations of this like there were the year before (certified vs non certified)? I'm just asking because McGwire wasn't in that year so I do not know and if there are, you should definitely have a variation reference to increase interest. Right now they are a hot topic because we have been discussing the variations of these which makes it a great time to unload them. They are currently back on many collectors radars that put them on the backburner for a couple years.

For reference (over the Winner part it says 'Certified' in the one on the left)

Actually, they are both pretty rare, regular and redeemed certified winner. Not sure if one is worth a whole lot more than the other. We might have to pull some of the player collector's whose player is on the card (Ripken, Puckett, Griffey, Gonzalez, Thomas). To pull one was 1 in 720 packs or something crazy like that, so the redemption was tough too, but my guess is the certified one is a little harder to find, based on the few I've seen.

i would say that now in 2011 the "certified" one would have more "value" because the other one can be pulled from a pack at anytime, the other one cannot

That's true, I hadn't thought of it that way. But you can't exactly walk into your local Target and buy 1993 and 1994 Topps packs in bulk, either. And, even if you could, it seems a bit inefficient to bust cases of the stuff looking for a card that tops out at $100.

totally agree with you. even sealed cases of 1994 Topps arent all that easy to come by anymore. boxes are in the $15 area. but youre right, if you want "a card" its best financially to just buy that card.

Really cool card/s and I know we've talked about them before but does Beckett recognize this card/s for other player collectors or is this not recognized by beckett bc I don't see it on Belle's Beckett checklist (not like all cards are on there anyways but just wondering)
