Nice Frank!

That helps with knowing where they originated from. I guess I should look around for a player list to make sure Will wasn't in that set. He was still considered great in 1992, so there is a chance he made the set.

I know I have a Don Mattingly somewhere, unless I gave it away...other than that, I don't remember who I've seen over the years.

Yikes...this went for a good $45 more than I paid for mine. Has me wondering if we don't have a few more Bagwell collectors in the mix or if somebody is doing the set.

When did you buy yours? If it's been longer than 3 years, you probably were smart enough to hop on the train before the boom.

I wanna say the summer of 2008. I wouldn't call it hopping on the train. I always have collected 90's stuff since I got into collecting again(2006). And I was pretty indiscriminate about Bagwell stuff. If I needed it, I bought it. If anything...the boom actually knocked the wind out of my sails. I never like to collect what's popular and this is a good reason why. Whoever won it, I hope it was a Bagwell collector.

I've asked the same thing about some Belle cards which have sold on eBay... sometimes I assume it is a set collector and not another Belle collector. Great pick up though if you got it in the past for half that price... always feels good

Any time I see stuff like this, I don't always feel like its a player collector. Though I will say over the last year or so Bagwell has seen an uptick in prices.

I think I paid close to $27 for mine after shipping maybe? Not sure. It was a long time ago. But there is no way, even to this day, that I'd pay that much for this card. So, yeah, I am glad I already got it.

Nice International Refractor. If you find them without horrible centering, you have done very well for yourself. Check the BGS pop report for that set.

Yeah I know even my gold refractor is off center.

Congrats on the Inverted Atomic. In as much as the card is at the top of my want list, I didn't push too hard for it and decided to hold out that I might find one for a few bucks one of these days. I think it'll happen...who knows when?

I wonder what it would have sold for if he'd have listed it properly?

Only 205 PSA10, this includes both international refractors and international non-refractors.......this card would not resub as a PSA10 under PSA current guidelines.

Assuming its because the centering is slightly off?....either way, doesn't matter since I really despise PSA and would never willingly submit with them.

Centering being a 9. For PSA to convert a BGS 9.5 to PSA 10 the card must be all 9.5 or higher; a card with a 9 will convert if there is at least one 10, a card with 2x9 will not convert to 10.

I understand your feeling about PSA, I feel the same way about Beckett.

I should know the answer to this but these had cards inside, so essentially a bunch of these could of been opened and tossed after right? I haven't seen the Albert Belle.

Makes me wish we could see who is bidding on the cards instead of the goofy hidden astrisks and letters thing they got goin on. I know I didnt win it. I could get a bunch more cards for 70 bucks.

The platinum Medallion guy doesnt have a Bagwell listed :(

That Winners card is hot. Just another Bagwell that will take me forever to get, especially if I have to fight 44 other player collectors to pick one up.

Nice Inverted Atomic Refractor there. It wasnt until I joined this site that I even knew they made inverted mirror image cards.

Bacon - I have Biggios if you want em.

I've only gotten 2 cards this week, one is a 2001 Bowman Chrome XFactor Bagwell which only cost me a nickel. And since this is a 90s only page, I'm not sharing a scan. But I also got this 99 Donruss Statline for 59 cents. But does it count as a 90s insert or a 00's insert? The copyright date is 2001, but its considered 99? Whats the deal?

Its considered a 2001 card. In '01 Donruss released those as inserts in packs. They didn't produce cards in 1999. That being said, I think we"ll allow it here cuz Statlines still rule. Great buy

If the price of that Brilliants gold scares you, you're in for a ride if a platinum medallion of Bags shows up. Or one of those winners cards actually gets a decent title and is up for auction that we all know about.

As for the Inverted Refractors out of Bowman's Best...I've been looking for them for a couple of years now but it always seems they elude me. I don't think they are being listed in a way I am searching.

Very nice inverted atomic! Congrats on the pickups!

Just saw a Biggio and Juan Gone atomic inverted sell on ebay for a fraction of the Thomas inverted. Granted, I thought the titles were horrible.

Had he used full player names, I think they would have done a lot better.

Anyone who ripped a Gold Impulse open and threw it away should get their face punched off.

I'd bet that many of them are still in packs, I know I refused to buy that stuff when it came out because I hated (and still do, to some degree) jumbo cards. Pretty sure I've seen a few online dealers with Zenith boxes for sale, fairly cheap too.
