Way to pimp Clarkfans auctions. I'm sure those looking for this set have already seen this.

I wasn't trying to pimp a damn thing. Merely adding to the conversation. As with all the various 90s inserts/parallels/etc, even those who don't have a player in this set are probably interested in it.

Yep, but any mention of me, my cards, or my business (unintentionally or intentionally) makes guys like fandruw upset :)

good stuff. i think they should be graded though.

True! I know it would help the sellability. I may consider it in the future, especially on the top 5 or 6 guys, but I doubt guys like Tony Phillips or Scott Sanderson or the checklist really need to be graded . . . but he did just sell for $65. Not bad for Tony Phillips

George Brett would be a sweet addition to the set. I would get all kinds of hate messages if a Brett was in it. I'd expect it to be worth $2K at least.

I'm glad I restrict my collections to cards no bigger than 1952 Topps size. These DK Jumbos would drive me crazy if I had to hunt down a Molitor, Baines and especially a Will Clark.

They definitely aren't for everyone. I had to buy special soft sleeves that would fit in the 5x7 hard cases just to put the Clark in my album safely. Big cards can be annoying and hard to protect. Same with with porcelain mugs and crap like that. I want them, but hate having to find a place for them.

Not a hater, both bought and sold cards to/from you. Sorry it was you but it's getting a bid ancy around here to be the first to post the 'new' auctions. Kind of like the general chat guy who waits for someone to die to the post the "RIP: "

It's all good. I just found it funny to be picked on when I wasn't even doing the posting. Everyone always has and always will rush to make the 1st post about anything. Just like people who want to be the "1st" to post on yahoo stories or famous people's facebook pages. It's a game in itself. Dumb, yes, fact, yes. I just want to stay on topic. Here is another 90's insert just to keep the best topic what it is.

Jeter 1998 Select Selected (not the sample), but the "backdoored" insert

for the record, I wasn't "rushing" to be the first to post anything, either. I check my Butler search a few times a day - they happened to come up, so I posted them.

I don't give a rip about whatever little pissing contest is apparently going on. I don't know anything about it, nor do I care to.

now, back to talking about 90s sweetness.
