Chashawk, we're both screwed.

No Andrew Dawson. No Andrew Miller. ::facepalm::

 Yup, I'm disappointed with the checklist this year.
In fact, there are no 2009 Dawson cards yet.

Sorry, I have a one-track mind sometimes.

Topps has a time machine. 8-)[/quote:rpjvwfpj]

Triple Threads was designed for the people who only care about having **** stuffed onto a card, and not about design. This whole product looks overstated and ridiculous, especially now that they have cemented the lame ass medieval shield theme. Huge foil stickers, "relics" instead of memorabilia, and 170 dollars a box for 1 ugly jersey card and 1 ugly auto printed on bright green or blue rainbow foilboard.

Ill tell you, the diecuts in these cards make them even worse. I cant think of dumber **** to do with a player's card than shrink the picture so I can spell out the crap they do.

All I know is I've tried three boxes of Triple Threads over the last two years and pulled some cool looking stuff, although none of it was worth the price of the box except for this one:

I wasn't entirely certain I wanted to sell it, but being the first one pulled, I did. Looks like a brilliant decision now as I got $610 for it and the last one sold for $330 a week or two ago.

Value isn't always there but it seems like there are enough ground-breaking hits in the product to make it an exceptionally fun break.

actually Adam, TTT is quite popular, it won a product of the year category here last year.
More fuel for his already burning fire

What was it up against? Upper Deck X? Topps Opening Day? 1987 Donruss?
