Particularly great set.
Not on-card though! ;)

Why is that important? This set looks better that way given that its noted for GU items which are also affixed to the card the same way.

billy or brooks. always go for the good deal on the older retired guys. it very rarely will go down. unless they get caught with a dead women or a young boy in their bed.

I'd say Catfish because honestly, I think he might have less autos. In any case, the Willaims and the Robinson both sound enticing. Any way you can save an extra $40 and swing all three?

Catfish! mmmm :)

stat of the day.... Hunter won 200 games before he was 31 years old... only 2 other soso pitchers did this, a guy named Christy and a guy named Denton aka "Cy".

...show me a guy today that can average 20 wins a season for first 10 years starting their career before they can get in a bar??? None even close....

because in the future, he will be perceived to have far fewer signed cards than any of the guys who have lived at this time. Robinson, Williams and Hunter are all lower tier HOFers, but value in autographs is often placed on perceived scarcity and Hunter with his link to Gehrig and early death with have some draw. Plus the perfect game, and teams he played for dont hurt. and the name too, just ask Rabbit, Ducky, Goose, Kiki, Pie, WeeWillie, Wahoo, PeeWee, etc.
