OT: How do we get some traffic on the other boards?

I think if a lot of people here included a note or card about FCB everytime they sold on ebay more and more would come. When I trade on other sites I always include an index card about FCB and what it has to offer.

If someone could make a FCB business card that we could print out at our houses, we could put the card in mailers when trading/selling and we would be able to bring more people over.

Here is an idea:

Start watermarking your card images with the fcb logo and web address, so when you plaster them all over eBay and other sites, peoples curiosity will drive them to FCB.com.

That looks awesome. Is there anyway I could somehow get that file or something and print it from Microsoft Word?

Honestly, I am much more of a football fan then baseball, but I spend more time on the baseball board because most of the people I talk to spend most of their time on the baseball board. ::facepalm:: That was a horribly long sentence and even worse excuse.

Anyway, I have been trying to make sure that I post more in the football board. I have been joining a lot of football breaks and trying to be more active over there. No one gives a ****, but I'm making an effort. :lol:

I think the best way to get more traffic to the other boards is for people already on the site to start posting on the boards of the other sports they follow.

I know I am trying to post more on the football boards and will probably increase my posting on the basketball boards as well.

Maybe if some of the lurkers, new people and even older ones who left see that the boards are getting more active internally, maybe the activity from others would increase.

Basically the problem is everyone is talking about how they plan to get back to posting on those boards during the season.This board posts year around and there is always something going on.Always something to talk about.But the threads in the football forum or basketball forum never seem to get too awful long(well at least nothing spectacular) and the posts are seasonal it seems.If you collect those sports or watch those sports then you should post over there.We don't have the kinds of discussions there that we do here.All the hypothetical questions or show off your best pulls or show off this or that or the 90's insert thread...we have none of it over there like we do here.I actually tried to start something like that over there(the 90's insert thread) because they have a lot better inserts for these sports than the baseball ever did IMO and it never took off.

All I can say is I try from time to time but it never seems to go anywhere.

We might have a chance with football, because those people are really spread out over many sites. Basketball is pretty much monopolized on another site...very tough to compete! I just found that site recently. I don't think they do anything special, they just got most of the cool basketball guys, just like we have the coolest baseball people!
