No, the rules say 19 year old minimum. Stern is actually pushing to make it 20 too.

I can't believe I was subject to hear two people's "Fav 5 international players" and it doesn't get better: coming up next is Kobe's journey. Token hip hop wannabe Stu Scott is also at the helm of the show and Van Gundy is rattling on about his favorite Kanye song. That was after he started babbling about the pointlessness of bringing a glove to a baseball game. The NBA is trying uncomfortably hard to be cool.
The NBA is too hip hop, so I don't even watch it.
It was my favorite sport up until about 10 years ago, now it's just a comedy show.
The bold just means "I don't want to sound racist, but the NBA is too black for me"
Well it wouldn't sound right if I did come out and say that. Some may get that impression, but MJ was my favorite player, as was Sammy in baseball. I'm just not a fan of overpaid 18 year olds sporting gold chains and nice grills who try to act like rappers. Give me some scrappy veterans like Malone, Stockton, David Robinson, MJ, Magic, Isiah, Bird, etc.
Fair enough. I guess I didn't notice the gold chains since I'm pretty sure they don't wear them while playing and are forced to wear suits when going to or leaving a game. I'm not sure what you mean by "acting like rappers."

Man Im with you on missing those guy. I think I just Love basketball as a whole enough to find my niche with these new players. It's gettong harder and harder to find guys with that Old School (Playing) mentality. I Am enjoying what Wade, Howard and Lebron are becomming as those are just some of the Guys that keep me excited to watch the Nba. You really do like to keep stiring, do you not? You always put that last little comment in there, almost as if you are enticing me to argue with you. That would be called causing trouble.
