Panini should make a new Donruss Originals set

My favorite recent Donruss set was 2002 Donruss Originals, a large set similar to Topps Heritage, that used the designs of the '82, '84, '86 and '88 Donruss sets, plus a "what if?" '80 Donruss design.
I have the complete set and it's one of my favorites, because the designs bring back great memories of collecting in the '80s as a kid.
But Donruss never made a set that used the '81, '83, '85, '87 and '89 designs.
I would love it if Panini would make a 2012 Donruss Originals set.

It was a dud at release. Some nice insert / gu cards, but the base cards didn't go over well.

I liked the idea of the Donruss Originals set since I too loved the 80's designs and the nostalgia. I remember I bought a box of it but never did try to build a set. What I didn't like was that there were multiple cards of each player, on each of the different designs. I know it'd be a direct recycle of the Topps Heritage idea, but I'd rather if Donruss Originals started with the original 1981 design and then used the subsequent designs annually.

i like the idea (but only after they have both MLBPA and MLBP licenses) i enjoyed busting boxes and putting together the 2002 Originals set -- and yes, to me it also brought back memories of collecting 1980's Donruss releases as I did the Originals set.
